A Wonderful Journey February, 2009 
Nishmat Hayyim's Sylvia Boorstein events of January 29–31 were successful and important in so many ways. To the over 200 people who listened to Sylvia's stories of humor and wisdom at Harvard Hillel and at the retreat at Temple Beth Zion in Brookline, thank you for sharing your meditation practice with us and we hope you enjoyed the program.
From the morning Torah Study with Sylvia to the Torah readings with Rav Claudia, the group aliyah, the chanting of Torah, and participating in the Havdalah service, Shabbat was infused with Sylvia's teachings that are based on a deep connection to and the wisdom of Jewish contemplative practice. Together we created a very special and sweet Shabbat, a container for our meditation practice. Sylvia Boorstein: The Spiritual Journey, was one of our biggest turn-outs, bringing people from far and wide, confirming the need for and quality of Nishmat Hayyim's programs.
